Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, registered an increase of 205.5% in domestic sales with 5,451 units during January 2013 as against 1,784 units sold during the same period last year.

The company has cumulatively sold 56,929 units during April'12 – January'13 as compared to 34,555 units in the corresponding period last year recording a growth of 65%.

The company also exported a total volume of 359 units during January 2013.
